Valentine’s day - dreaded holiday by many - is only a day away! I actually like Valentines day, probably because I have a sweetie to celebrate it with. My favorite gift to receive on Vday is not purses, not shoes, not makeup, but jewelry! I think Valentine’s the perfect holiday to receive jewelry (better than Christmas and birthday, in my opinion). Of course, I’d like to receive jewelry any day of the week!

The Tiffany Elsa Peretti Double Open Heart pendant has been on my mind lately, probably because I want to add a necklace to my meager jewelry collection. I love Tiffany’s Elsa Peretti open heart and 2 is the perfect number to have! I also love that one is silver and they other is gold and they are 2 different sizes. It is adorable and I can see myself wearing it every day! It’s nice and simple - just the way I like jewelry. I think I might get it for myself soon since the BF is such a scrooge when it comes to presents. He’s quite generous when it comes to dining though. We’ll be going to Hatfield’s tomorrow, the finest of LA. I’m so excited! I think I’ll be a total newb and take lots of pictures so I can share with y’all the next day.

Sorry for the hiatus, guys, but life has been crazy this first month of 2008! I came back from an amazing vacation in Asia (where I thought I’d died and gone to heaven while strolling through the Harbour City mall in Hong Kong) but only to face a month long of moving and the flu. Yuck! Now I’m settle and definitely back to write some more about my beauty and fashion adventures :).

Hello Lovelies,

I’ll be away on vacation starting Wednesday, December 19th, and won’t return until Wednesday, January 2nd, 2008!! My postings will be limited. Sorry! I’ll be joining my PHB (Purse Hating Boyfriend) in Hong Kong where I’ll be shopping to my heart’s content (and boy, do I have a big heart). Then we will be basking in the sun in Thailand (with a full armor of sun protection, of course) where my good friend from High school is getting married! Congrats, Mimi & Kachit!

There are 2 things that I totally love from Fresh - the Fresh Supernova mascara and Sugar lipgloss. How awesome is it that they put the 2 together for a holiday gift set!

The Fresh Supernova mascara is one of the best on the market. It does everything - lengthen, plump, and separate. I’ve gone through a couple of these already and have to say that I was very impressed. There are a zillions of mascaras on the market promising fantastic lashes and the Fresh Supernova mascara is one of the only ones that fulfill that promise.

I’m also really in love with Fresh lipgloss. It is glossy but not sticky and stays on for a long time. I think it is probably the best lipgloss that I can find in the states (I love RMK lipgloss the most but it is only available in Asia). I already own the Fairy shade in Fresh lipgloss but it’s such a great shade that I don’t think I will mind stocking up ;).
