What?? Less than $300 for Lambskin?? This clutch is a steal! Clutches are still oh so big this season and why not? They are the perfect going out bag and go so well with the LBD!

My one complaint about most clutches is the lack of handles (ever need to go to the bathroom and don’t know what to do with your precious bag?). Some clutches do have handles though - those dinky chain ones that don’t do much but leave indentations on your shoulder. That’s why this Lauren Merkin clutch is so perfect. There’s a cute handle that allows you to wear your bag on your shoulder if you have to double fist and tucks in nicely when you want a more sophisticated look.

Do I need to mention that this clutch is made with lambskin? I recall Fendi & Chanel lambskin clutches costing about 5x as much as this one. I LOVE lambskin. It’s my favorite type of leather on my bags. I can just cuddle it all day long! YUM.

Sad you missed out on the super limited Louis Vuitton Sophie from 2006/2007? The extremely rare cutie was only available in Japan and Hawaii but through some major luck, I was able to land myself one at retail (they were on Ebay for almost twice that much) and it remains one of my favorite going out bags of all time!

Louis Vuitton recognized the popularity of the adorable Sophie and made a similar bag for this Spring that will be much more attainable - the Eva. The Eva was named after Eva Herzegovina, the face for Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer and is almost as adorable as the Sophie. Just almost. I think I will put myself on the list for the Eva as well because it looks like it can hold much more than a Sophie yet doesn’t look too bulky and is still cute for going out.

I predict this will be a really popular bag with Vuitton this spring so put your name down with your SA if you want one! This bag is due out in March and should retail around $510. You can also find Louis Vuitton available online at eLUXURY.com

I never thought I’d be pining over a Ferragamo bag but I am! I’ve always thought that Ferragamo was my mother’s bag (and it is, she loves Ferragamo bags and shoes) and that the Ferragamo style didn’t transcend time and age. But I’m wrong about that as well! I have a feeling Ferragamo is doing a comeback and will be considered an “IT” bag soon.

I’m in love with the Meditteraneo Marisa bag which has been a hot bag from Ferragamo for a while now. It is just so chic. The gancini closure is absolutely iconic and everything about the bag is just so hot, practical, and perfect. The skin is a glazed kidskin which means that it is more updated than boring black leather but not as “in your face” as patent leather. The handles are suitable for handheld or shoulder carry and there is just the right amount of hardware on this bag. I also love the pleats throughout the bag - I’m such a sucker for pleats.

I’m not sure why I never noticed this bag before. Maybe it was just added to the sale today, but it is gorgeous!
