Dior Poison Blue Nail Polish
Loved Chanel’s Blue Satin but couldn’t get your hands on a bottle? Blue Satin caused such a craze amongst beauty fanatics that its rival Dior had to come out with a Blue of its own. Dior recently made Poison Blue available only on Sephora online. Before, this color was only available in Europe. What? Us Americans need some love too!
Even though I have Blue Satin (preordered it a month before it even came out last December), I want Dior’s Poison Blue as well. The main difference between the 2 polishes is that the Chanel is a shimmery navy blue while the Dior is a glossy navy blue. I’m so in love with navy blue beauty products now that heck, I’ll get both!
Get the Dior Poison Blue Nail Polish via Sephora for $19.

Alright… it’s another Thursday where I need to leave work early to fight traffic to get to Beverly Hills Saks. As a last minute decision (perhaps to boost 1st quarter sales?), Saks is having a one of their infamous gift card events today. In case you didn’t know, the breakdown is as follows:
Just put the eye mask on for about 10 minutes underneath your eyes and it’ll visibly reduce darkness and puffiness. The beauty of this is that the masks are infused with vitamins and strawberry extract that totally soothe the delicate eye area. The best part is that instead of washing the mask off after application, you just dab the remaining serum all over your eyes! After a long night, I just put this on in the morning before my skincare routine and my eyes are ready to face the world soon after.
What better way to celebrate than write about my favorite brand - duh, Chanel and my favorite thing to buy - handbags! My handbag lust of the season is the new blue Chanel Reissue from Spring/Summer 2008. Blue is definitely the new black and no one does blue better than Chanel - Blue Satin nail polish is out of this world gorgeous and I love both of the new blue eyeshadow palettes this season from Chanel. My Chanel SA actually convinced me to add blue Inimitable mascara to my beauty routine! I have been too shy to try it yet but I’ll let you guys know in a week or so.
I know I’m late in the game with respect to MAC’s awesome paint pots (what can I say, I love using traditional eye shadows and brush application). After hearing raves and raves about these paint pots from fashion bloggers as well as MAC makeup artists, I decided to buy 2 to experiment over the weekend. Wowie!!! There is seriously nothing like it and it’s awesome!
